Vox Singing Academy Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Vox Singing Academy website (“Site”) or booking any lessons, services, products, gift vouchers, or tuition with Vox Singing Academy (“Vox Singing Academy”, “VSA”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing our website, booking lessons, purchasing products or services, or using any part of our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Bookings & Payments

• Payment must be received within 72 hours of making a booking reservation unless otherwise agreed by Vox Singing Academy.
• Cash payments are not accepted.
• Lesson fees, tuition fees and package prices are subject to change without prior notice.

2. Initial Introductory Class Policy

Each student is entitled to book one (1) Initial Introductory Class only.

This offer may only be used for your first lesson and cannot be booked again for any subsequent lessons, whether with the same or a different teacher.

Any additional Initial Introductory Class bookings that do not comply with this policy may be cancelled without notice, and the student will be required to book a standard lesson at the applicable lesson rate.

3. Refund Policy

All payments made to Vox Singing Academy are strictly non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Individual lessons
• Lesson packages
• Tuition fees
• Gift vouchers
• Workshops
• Special promotions
• Account credits

No refunds will be issued for change of mind, missed lessons, unused lesson credits or partially completed tuition packages, except where required by applicable consumer law.

4. Lesson Cancellations

Students must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice directly to their teacher by phone, SMS or email if they wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

Where less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, or a student fails to attend a scheduled lesson, the full lesson fee will be charged.

5. Gift Voucher Terms

• Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of the purchase date unless otherwise stated.
• Expired gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be extended.
• Exclusive promotional gift voucher offers are available for genuine gift purchases only and may not be purchased for personal use.
• Promotional gift voucher offers are not available to current students or former students who have addressed Vox Singing Academy within the previous 12 months.

Where the value of a gift voucher is insufficient to cover lessons with the recipient’s preferred teacher, the recipient may choose one of the following options:

• Select another teacher whose lesson rate is covered by the voucher;
• Pay the difference between the voucher value and the lesson price; or
• Have the remaining voucher value converted into account credit for future lessons.

6. Sibling Discount

Sibling discounts apply only to full brothers and sisters.

The sibling discount is applied to the parent or legal guardian responsible for payment and is not transferable between students.

7. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All material supplied by Vox Singing Academy, whether on this website or during lessons, remains the exclusive intellectual property of Vox Singing Academy.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Vocal exercises
• Scales
• Teaching techniques
• Handouts
• Worksheets
• Recordings
• Videos
• Written material
• Lesson content
• Verbal instruction
• Conversations
• Website content

No person may copy, reproduce, distribute, record, publish, modify, sell or otherwise use any material provided by Vox Singing Academy without prior written permission.

Unauthorised use or reproduction constitutes a breach of Australian and international copyright laws.

8. Health & Liability

Students participate in lessons at their own risk.

Although Vox Singing Academy teaches recognised healthy vocal techniques, Vox Singing Academy, its teachers, directors, employees and contractors accept no responsibility or liability for any vocal injury, physical injury, illness, loss or damage that may occur during or as a result of lessons conducted at our studios, online or at any other location.

Students are responsible for informing their teacher of any existing medical, vocal or physical conditions prior to commencing lessons.

9. Website Intellectual Property

The Vox Singing Academy website, including all original text, graphics, logos, videos, downloads, images, trademarks and functionality, is owned by Vox Singing Academy and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws.

Unauthorised copying or reproduction of any website content is strictly prohibited.

10. Referral Program

Referral rewards are credited only after the referred student has enrolled in and paid in full for a 5-week or 10-week term.

Referral rewards are as follows:

• $20 AUD account credit for each successful referral.
• An additional $50 AUD account credit after the fifth successful referral.
• An additional $100 AUD account credit after the tenth successful referral.

After ten successful referrals, the referral count resets and begins again.

Referral rewards cannot be claimed for:

• Previous students;
• Retrospective referrals;
• Parents or guardians enrolling their own child or children;
• Self-referrals.

Only one referral reward may be claimed per individual student referred.

Referral credits are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and may only be used towards future Vox Singing Academy tuition.

11. Feedback & Customer Service

Vox Singing Academy is committed to continually improving the quality of its tuition and customer service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Australia.

Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

13. Amendments

Vox Singing Academy reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The latest version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms and Conditions.
