Joshua O’Donnell is a Vox Singing Academy student and the lead singer, guitarist and chief songwriter from BANKS ARCADE a New Zealand born Melbourne based hard rock, electro, metalcore band that get their influences from the likes of Slipknot, Northlane, The Prodigy and SAINt JHN.

The first lyrics put to paper for Banks Arcade were “I always wanted to make history” and through every step of the way BA has tried to live by that motto. The band was formed on the sentiment of “wanting more” and from the get go BA tried to push any boundaries as far as they could go.
Combining their shared love of music and modern aesthetic, the boys established their sound and, in 2017 released their debut singles ‘Mercy’ and ‘Ambition’ backed closely by their EP ‘Endnote’.
Now Banks Arcade have started 2020 strong, with the release of their first two singles ‘Sick’ and ‘Drown’ supported by their second EP ‘Fever Dreams’.
“We make modern music that is meant for big stages, we want to inspire others to be the best versions of themselves, and we want to have a good time while we’re at it. That’s about all we live for.”

Banks Arcade have played large venues throughout Australia and New Zealand and have shared the stage with artists such as Stray From The Path, Counterparts and Silverstein.  With their signing to UNFD comes their frenzied new single ‘Don’t Start’, a determined effort both musically and visually, that will no doubt snap heads. The band are currently working on their first full length album which will be released in 2022 through UNFD Records.
