Thomas Vox expresses his emotions through jamming the guitar and singing LIVE
He has been singing his whole life and has been studying voice for the last 5 years and his experience in playing music for over 10 years. During secondary school, Thomas spent most of his free time singing, playing piano and guitar, using these skills to finish both VCE Group Performance and VCE Solo Performance with impressive results. Tom is currently in progress of completing his degree in Music Industry at RMIT University.
Tom began singing lessons with principal teacher Peter Vox in 2009 and started his own band, Gunslingers. He has vast performance and songwriting experience that he is willing to share with all his students both past and present.
Tom specialises in pop, rock, punk, hard rock, folk, acoustic, and indie. His songwriting experience and knowledge of composition and music theory make him a great choice for students looking to perform their own original songs. With a friendly, fun and chilled out personality and a maturity way above his years, his private singing lessons is a great step for anybody looking to pursue their musical dreams!
Private singing lessons with Thomas Vox are $40 for 30 mins. He is available at our Brunswick studio and privately coaches’ students from beginner to advance level.
Tom played his first gig at the Espy when he was 15 and he has since played many shows all over Victoria in various bands. He currently fronts a rock band called Gunslingers. Their music has received radio coverage all over Australia, including multiple plays on Triple J.
Using his extensive musical and industry experience, Tom takes it upon himself to bring out the best of all of his students and encourage them to exceed their own expectations of themselves. His lessons are relaxed and fun, but also focused and demanding. His taste in and knowledge of music is extremely broad, and he can teach any modern genre from rock, punk and indie to pop, jazz and soul to even musical theatre.
Singers who write and perform their own music are especially encouraged to consider tuition from Tom, as he’s particularly experienced in this area and delights in seeing his students get their music out there. He’s willing to share his knowledge in various facets of the music industry, including studio recording, promotion and publicity, booking and playing shows and general music management.
When students start their tuition from Tom, he notices significant and rapid improvements in their singing and confidence, as well as in their drive and motivation. With students signed to record labels and booking companies, Tom is obviously great at what he does – sharing his love of music with other like minded people.
