Sarah is an entry-level singing teacher at Vox Singing Academy.
Sarah is a Melbourne-based singer, songwriter, and musician with over 25 years of experience in performance and contemporary music. Raised in a musical household, Sarah grew up surrounded by music: her mother worked in administration for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, while her father is a professional big band jazz drummer.
Sarah began studying classical piano at the age of seven through the AMEB syllabus before discovering her passion for contemporary music as a teenager. At thirteen, she travelled across Canada and the west coast of the United States while accompanying her father on tour with the Victoria Police Band. During that trip, she realised that performing and creating music would become her life’s path.
Since then, Sarah has performed extensively across Melbourne, studied Contemporary Music at Box Hill Institute, released multiple solo and band recordings, and supported artists including Tim Rogers (of You Am I) and Sarah McLeod (of The Superjesus). She currently performs with her band Howling Mountain.
