Renee began singing at the tender age of 2 years old and began performing almost immediately to anyone who would listen. In her early years she was singing songs by Dolly Parton, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holliday, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Celine Dion - reciting Disney songs, Musical Theatre, as well as experimenting with genres such as Rock, Rnb, Soul, Jazz, Folk, Country, Pop, Adult Contemporary, Gospel, Indie and many more along the way cementing her very genuine love for all things music.
Renee commenced classical piano at the age of 7 at which time she also started to write her own poetry and songs. Renee completed her AMEB exams up until grade 5 in Classical Piano and spent many years refining her songwriting craft with fantastic results and achievements. Renee is able to play basic Drums and Guitar - along with basic production skills with the appropriate knowledge required to demo original music.

At 18 years of age Renee relocated to Melbourne from Darwin to study a Batchelor in Contemporary Music at JMC Academy majoring in Voice.
Renee has had singing lessons from many different teachers which has moulded her own unique style and syllabus. Renee has a 3 octave range making her a Soprano, and therefore Renee is able to teach both male, females, and children. Renee is very versatile with the ability to belt to a high E.
Upon graduating from JMC academy with a distinction average - Renee completed a Post Graduate Diploma in secondary Education at Latrobe University/Monash University – she then relocated to London where she taught, performed, recorded and toured the UK scene prolifically gaining significant experience in refining her craft. At this time she discovered Joni Mitchell, and started to record original Folk music. In her time in London she toured and supported Ireland’s best selling female singer of all time throughout the UK leg of her tour - Eleanor McEvoy.
She was personally invited by Eleanor after her original song “Seen You Before” gained huge momentum even winning $10, 000 in prize money from the platform Citizen TV UK. The song earned critical acclaim in Australia as well where she gained her first radio rotation with JOYFM as well as being featured with ABC national and numerous community stations around Melbourne which assisted her in selling out shows across the country. Renee supported many underground artists such as Steve Smyth and The Islington Boys Club who eventually became a main character in a JK Rowling novel (career of evil) along with many other bands and artists on the road.
Renee has performed original music in iconic venues across the UK such as Cargo nightclub, The Old Blue, and The Slaughtered Lamb regularly to name a few.
Renee has worked with many successful Producers most notably Ben McCarthey ( Sony ATV Publishing) who has also produced Pete Murray, G-Flip, Geordie and Tina Arena to name a few, as well as Michael Paynter (Mushroom Publishing) of MsQuared Productions who has produced many hits with the The Veronica’s and worked with the likes of Delta Goodrem and many more. Both producers opened industry doors for Renee after recognising her talent, passion and skill for Songwriting, Singing, Musicianship and Stagecraft.
Renee released a new original song in January of 2023 called “Bonfire” (Mushroom Publishing) under a new alias to her previous work and the song hit the top 400 in the UK, Poland, Sweden, while in Romania it reached the top 200 in January of 2023. It gained the attention of BBCradio1 along with Capital FM which are both major commercial stations in the UK - it remains in the top 400 in Sweden to date.
The song also peaked at #25 in the Poprock radio charts in Australia gaining momentum in the Australian market while she continues to write, record and release more music. Renee has also sold 2 original compositions to The Voice Contestants.
