Anastasia Vox

Anastasia started her music journey at the age of 6. Her mum took her to the music school to audition for violin class, but she burst out in tears and ran away. Her parents then decided that music was not her thing and never took her to the music school again.

At the age of 15 she she started singing, picked up the guitar and joined a band of her schoolmates, as well as played in school classical guitar ensemble.

Anastasia played in numerous cover bands and also her own original band where she wrote and produce all of the music. This lead her to perform all around her home land, Russia as well as abroad through numerous European countries. Having countless singing lessons in the real life School of Rock fuelled her passion for singing furthermore. In 2016 Anastasia moved to Australia and entered Melbourne music scene with vigour and enthusiasm to do big things.

In 2018 she finished her Advanced Diploma in Music Performance at Melbourne Polytechnic TAFE majoring in contemporary vocal and performance.

With 10 years of experience in music industry, including thousands of performances, recordings and singing classes under her belt, Anastasia takes inspiration from a wide range of vocalists such as Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, Aubrey Logan, Aretha Franklin, Freddie Mercury, Adele, Adam Lambert, Hozier and many others. She is experienced in performing in various styles, including rock, metal, pop, theatre, contemporary, blues, jazz, latin jazz, hip hop.

Aside from singing and teaching, Anastasia is really passionate about the arrangement, ensemble work and music theory. She can be of great help to the songwriters, people performing in bands, as well as those who are willing to improve their stage presence, confidence and performance techniques.

When she’s not teaching, she’s making music with her band Renelophus, plays guitar and sings in her cover duo, jams with her friends and hangs out with her cats.

As a teacher, Anastasia personality is positive, respectful, energetic, patient, and confident combining this with her passion for teaching singing and large range gives her the ability to teach both males, females, adults and children.

  • Bayswater studio on Monday’s 12pm to 10pm
  • Brunswick studio Thursdays 12 PM to 10 PM
  • Dandenong studio Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM
