Felicity Lovelace

Felicity has been singing since the age of 5, and has always been passionate about music. She studied at Vox Singing Academy for 3 years now, and has been taught by both Rients and Peter. After trying multiple vocal coaching programs herself, Felicity found that Vox Singing Academy methods best suited her rock/pop style, and noticed that her voice developed faster with the VSA method!

Her musical influences include INXS, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Megadeth, Foo Fighters, Faith No More, Jimmy Eat World, and P!nk.

Felicity also has a background in theatre and acting, appearing in Neighbours, Fergus McPhail, and many stage productions. She took part as a guest vocalist, and both lead and backing vocals in live acoustic shows and showcases, has sung at events and venues all around Melbourne, and has competed at the Royal South Street Singing Competition in Bendigo, as well as worked behind the scenes for other local Melbourne musicians and projects.

After a few years of supporting other artists and bands, Felicity felt it was time to spread her own wings and explore being a lead singer. So, she assembled and is currently successfully running a stellar band – dedicated to her favorite front girl Chrissy Amphlett and the Divinyls – “Chrissy – Melbourne’s Divinyls Tribute”. Felicity also has a diploma in marketing, and is not only the lead singer of “Chrissy”: she also handles the bands bookings and social media marketing.

As a teacher, Felicity is fun, bubbly and patient. She specializes in teaching Pop, Rock, Theatre, Alternative, Contemporary, and RnB singers. Her vocal range gives her the ability to teach kids and adults, males and females alike, and she makes even the most nervous beginners feel comfortable!
